Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally to support production goals.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Manage the maintenance management system for tracking work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory control.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems (both high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance.

Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and modifications on various machinery.

Lead projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, or other enhancements as needed.

Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills

Proven management skills with experience in supervising maintenance personnel.

Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on industrial maintenance practices.

Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.

Familiarity with HVAC systems and facilities management principles.

Experience with project management methodologies to oversee maintenance projects effectively.

Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Competence in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
